Top 25 CFB Week 4

TOP 25 NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL RANKINGS – WEEK 4

Hello ladies and gentlemen! The college football story hasn’t changed much but there were plenty of statement wins this week, as well as key losses. Oklahoma vs Nebraska was incredible for betting and college football fans as Oklahoma buried the Cornhuskers even more after Scott Frost was fired. Georgia looks like they are ready to repeat right now. The Buckeyes offense is starting to develop as I believe they have one of the most skilled depth charts in the nation. USC is slowly becoming king of the Pac-12 once again. Notre Dame finally won their first game. Herm Edwards was fired from Arizona State. It was an entertaining Week 3 but Week 4 should provide way more excitement as it features high ranked matchups, some of which are conference rivalries!

1. Georgia

Destroyed South Carolina as Spencer Rattler had no chance against this stout Georgia defense. Although Alabama has the best defender in Will Anderson Jr, Georgia still holds the title as best team defense. They look like they haven’t lost a step from last year after losing so much talent to the NFL. Stetson Bennett still hasn’t thrown an interception. It should be another cakewalk against Kent State at home in Week 4.

2. Alabama

After a close win against Texas, Alabama unloaded the heavies against UL-Monroe in a 63-7 massacre. Bryce Young is still great, and Will Anderson Jr is really good while leading the team in interceptions with 1. They welcome Vanderbilt which should be an easy win for the Tide.

3. Ohio State

A 77-21 win against Toledo saw CJ Stroud throw for 5 TDs, who also has thrown no interceptions this season. Don’t let the Notre Dame game fool you, this offense is loaded and is finally clicking. This incredible offensive showing is what the team needed to really gel for their Week 4 matchup at home vs Wisconsin.

4. Michigan

Smashed UConn 59-0 as Michigan was clearly the better team top to bottom. It will be a solid matchup vs Maryland as they welcome a capable aerial offense with subpar defense that should see Michigan scoring early and often.

5. Clemson

Beating Louisiana Tech 48-20 is nice, and DJ played a solid game. Clemson will have a tough test on the road vs 21st ranked Wake Forest.

6. Oklahoma

Destroyed Nebraska 49-14 as Dillon Gabriel looks comfortable as a Sooner. He has stacked the stats with W’s while throwing 0 interceptions so far. They welcome Kansas State at home which should be another comfortable win.

7. USC

Caleb Williams, 0 interceptions, led the Trojans to a massive 45-17 home win vs Fresno State.

They will have a tough conference opponent in Oregon State as they travel for their first road test.

8. Kentucky

Easy 31-0 victory vs Youngstown St after a massive win vs Florida. Will Levis should have a field day as they welcome Northern Illinois and their horrible defense.

9. Oklahoma St

Spencer Sanders is showing off as he puts together some impressive stats. The Cowboys will enjoy a bye week after beating AR Pine-Bluff by 7 touchdowns.

10. Arkansas

The Hogs are rolling offensively behind KJ Jefferson and Raheim Sanders as they dominated Missouri State 38-27. They will travel to 23rd ranked Texas A&M is a huge SEC clash.

11. Tennessee

Akron stood no chance as they were crushed 63-6. Hendon Hooker and the Volunteers will welcome #20 Florida who they should have 0 issues beating.

12. NC State

Statement win vs Texas Tech, 27-14, as Devin Leary continues to carry the Wolfpack to victories. They should have a comfortable win vs UCONN at home this week.

13. Utah

Nice & easy 35-7 victory at home vs San Diego State. The Utes travel to Arizona State after Herm Edwards was let go, which should be a big green light for Utah to take off against this staggering team.

14. Penn State

Huge 41-12 road win against Auburn that pushes Penn State back on the map. They should be able to carry this momentum into their home game vs Central Michigan.

15. Oregon

The Ducks had a big 41-20 home win vs 12th ranked BYU and they have responded well since the Georgia beatdown. Bo Nix and the Ducks will travel to Washington State in a PAC-12 matchup.

16. Ole Miss

Shutting out Georgia Tech 42-0 at home was a great statement that showed off the amazing RB depth they have. Zach Evans and Quinshon Judkins welcome Tulsa, as both should rush for 100 yards each.

17. Baylor

Texas State stood no chance as they traveled to Baylor and lost 42-7. The Bears will have a tough test ahead as they travel to Iowa State in this spotlight, Big 12 matchup.

18. Washington

A huge 39-28 home win vs 11th ranked Michigan St catapults the Huskies up the charts. They hope to carry this momentum into next week as they welcome Stanford in a Pac-12 matchup. Michael Penix Jr was a HUGE grab from the transfer portal.

19. BYU

Tough loss, 41-20, on the road to 25th ranked Oregon. The Cougars will hope to get back on the winning side by welcoming Wyoming, who should prove to be a formidable foe.

20. Florida

Squeaked out a 31-28 at home vs intrastate foe South Florida. The Gators will need every bit of strength they have if they want to win against 11th ranked Tennessee in their home. Anthony Richardson might be better fit at wide receiver with his speed, as his arm talent is lacking.

21. Wake Forest

Close 37-36 win at home vs Liberty as Sam Hartman picks up where he left off last year. They will have a huge test vs 5th ranked Clemson at home in this ACC heavyweight match.

22. Texas

Handed UTSA a comfortable 41-20 loss as Texas rallies with a W after losing closely to Alabama the week before. They should pull off a comfortable win on the road vs Texas Tech and look for Bijan to rush for 100+ yards.

23. Texas A&M

After losing to Appalachian State, the Aggies beat 13th ranked Miami at home in a 17-9 defensive battle. They will have another tough home game as they welcome 10th ranked Arkansas in this SEC clash.

24. Pittsburgh

Recorded a 34-13 road win vs Western Michigan as the team struggles without Kedon Slovis. They should be able to generate more offense at home vs Rhode Island.

25. Miami (FL)

Even after a tough 17-9 loss to 24th ranked Texas A&M on the road, the Hurricanes are still in the top 25. They look to move up the rankings with a huge win vs MTSU at home in which Tyler Van Dyke should throw for 5 TDs easily.
