Hot NHL Players Going Into Spring 2023
Hello my fellow humies,
Thank you for stopping for my breakdown of some of the hottest players in the NHL right now. We have roughly 12 games left in the season for each respective team and this is the stretch of the season where most of the stars push themselves to the max under the weight of post-season implications, bonuses, etc. I’m talking about teams like Anaheim that are going to play so poorly these last 12, but somehow score goals as the players try to salvage some good moments prior to the end of the season. I’m also talking about the Oilers who are mostly healthy, finally, and are running through the west standings recently on a warpath as they have a total of 10 points in their last 5 games.
Who’s Hot In the NHL?
Connor “McJesus” McDavid is in full form and he is must-watch hockey every night he plays. Over 1.5 points for -200 is an insane betting props in the sports betting world. Where do we find the value for our messiah? First and last goalscorer props at +700 either way is a good place to start. Otherwise over 3.5 goals is a sure fire hit because the Oilers have only scored 3 or less goals in 3 of their last 15 games. Insane offensive heat right there, I’m talking walking on the sun with a sweatsuit holding a heater to your butthole. McJesus himself has scored a goal in 11 of his last 15 games!
Alexander “The Great 8” Ovechkin is closing out the season currently on a 5 game point streak and will look to shoot as much as he can in pursuit of Wayne Gretzky’s all-time goal mark. He is currently 74 goals away from tying Gretzky’s mark but he’s got some games left this year and should be back for a couple more seasons considering how healthy and strong his game has remained.
Matthew “The Menace” Tkachuk has been FLAMETHROWER HOT for the Florida Panthers in his first season after the blockbuster trade that got him shipped down south to the sunny beaches of “The Sunshine State”. Not only was he MVP of the All Star game but he averages 2 points per game at home this season. He loves the crowd as much as they love him, so everybody wins as a fan.
Honorable Mentions
Leon Draisatil “The German Machine” as he is currently on a 7 game point streak with 14 total points in that span! The man is Batman to Connor McDavid’s Superman.
Mitchell “Moneybags” Marner is on an 8 game point streak with 15 total points in that span. He should finish with 100+ points for the first time in his career which is very deserving in front of that Toronto fanbase with Auston “Pablo” Matthews getting all the hype and shine.
Jason “J-Rob” Robertson has been the offensive gem that the Dallas Stars have needed for YEARS! He should finish in the top 8 for most points in a single season by a Stars player and he will hopefully hit 100+. With teammate Roope Hintz down for a couple months, the offense stalled and prevented Jason from hitting the century mark by now.
