Brock shares his Power Rankings going into Week 15 of the NFL regular season

NFL POWER RANKINGS – WEEK 15

1. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (12-1)

If there was ever such a thing as an offense performing perfectly, this Eagles team would have a strong claim at that title. It’s like this offense was made in Switzerland.

2. BUFFALO BILLS (10-3)

The Bills exacted some revenge against the Jets in Orchard Park. This was a big win in terms of their AFC East title hunt.

3. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (10-3)

What’s crazier: the insane throws that Mahomes has the awareness to make, or the fact that they seem to ALWAYS pay off big time? This guy is just an absolute treat to watch.

4. DALLAS COWBOYS (10-3)

Well, that could have been embarrassing… actually it was slightly embarrassing. But a win is a win.

5. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (9-4)

That QB from Iowa State looked Purdy good in his first career start. It doesn’t get much better than trouncing Tom Brady in your first game as the signal caller.

6. BALTIMORE RAVENS (9-4)

Did the defense step up or did Mitch Trubisky let this one slip away from the Steelers? Probably a mix of both – but for the purpose of these rankings I’m going to say that the defense stepped up for their Lamar Jackson-less offense.

7. CINCINNATI BENGALS (9-4)

This team is starting to look dangerous at the right time, just like last season.

8. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (10-3)

The “fraud-ometer” is currently off the charts. I hate to say it considering some of the talent they have, but I’m losing faith in this team.

9. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS (7-5-1)

Last week they tied the Giants in New York. They will face the Giants once again at home after their bye week. This should give the Commanders a decent edge, which is good for them because this is a huge game in regard to their playoff hopes.

10. MIAMI DOLPHINS (8-5)

The west coast hasn’t treated the Dolphins well. They’ve lost 2 straight games, failing to score more than 17 points in each. This is the wrong time of the season to enter a slump.

11. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (7-6)

The Pats put together a solid game on Monday night. The task became a little easier after seeing Kyler Murray go down with an injury on the first drive, but a 14-point road victory is nothing to sneer at no matter who is at QB.

12. DETROIT LIONS (6-7)

How about the Detroit Lions? It’s a brand-new atmosphere in The Motor City.

13. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (7-6)

The Chargers put forth one of their better efforts on Sunday night, beating the Dolphins by 6. But every time I think this team is about to get hot, they end up dropping a winnable game.

14. TENNESSEE TITANS (7-6)

Tennessee found themselves in a nice “get-right” spot on Sunday with a home game against the Jaguars. This was a prime opportunity to stop their skid and get things back on track. Unfortunately, they ended up losing the game by 14 points. Yikes.

15. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (7-6)

It feels odd seeing the Seahawks defense letting down the offense. I remember the “Legion of Boom” like it was yesterday.

16. NEW YORK GIANTS (7-5-1)

The Giants just got sliced & diced by Philly, and will now travel to Washington to take on the Commanders in a game with enormous playoff implications for both clubs. Should be a fun one.

17. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (6-7)

Imagine if Tom Brady returned just to lose the division to Atlanta or Carolina, and miss the playoffs altogether. That would have to be painful.

18. NEW YORK JETS (7-6)

Considering how things played out late in the game on Sunday, not even putting Zach Wilson in uniform looks somewhat foolish if you ask me.

19. CLEVELAND BROWNS (5-8)

I’m starting to feel embarrassed that I thought this would be a quality team once Watson made his debut. His play could improve with time, but so far he has left a lot to be desired.

20. GREEN BAY PACKERS (5-8)

Green Bay will try to finish this season strong. A playoff berth looks very unlikely. They would most likely need to win out and get a good bit of help, but it’s not impossible.

21. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (5-8)

Here’s what a frustrating day it was for the Steelers – Kenny Pickett left the game with a concussion in the 1st half, but his role as the starting QB was cemented even further.

22. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (5-8)

The NFL is wild. The Raiders had won 3 straight and were finally playing good football. Then they go into Los Angeles to face a Rams team that was missing Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Aaron Donald – among others. Should have been a walk in the park, right? Wrong. Instead, Baker Mayfield, who was playing his first game with the Rams, took over for Wolford mid-game and led the Rams to a comeback victory late in the 4th quarter.

23. ATLANTA FALCONS (5-8)

A late bye week could be beneficial for the Falcons. They will try and hunt down the NFC South crown over the final 4 weeks of the season.

24. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (5-8)

The Jags answered their blowout loss to Detroit by dishing out some punishment of their own.

25. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (4-8-1)

The Colts don’t have much to play for at this point besides pride & experience. Let’s see how this team performs for Jeff Saturday under those circumstances. That could play a large factor in whether or not they remove his interim tag and give him the job for next season.

26. ARIZONA CARDINALS (4-9)

An abysmal season took a nightmarish turn on Monday night when we saw Kyler Murray go down with a non-contact injury on the 3rd play of the game. More often than not, those aren’t good.

27. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (4-9)

Playing the role of spoiler for Atlanta and/or Carolina appears to be all the Saints have left to play for over this past month.

28. LOS ANGELES RAMS (4-9)

There’s no point in tanking when you don’t have a 1st round pick, right?

29. CAROLINA PANTHERS (5-8)

Believe it or not, the Panthers still have a shot at the NFC South. The odds of that happening are pretty long, but in the words of Lloyd Christmas, “So you’re telling me there’s a chance!”.

30. DENVER BRONCOS (3-10)

The offense finally showed up, but it just so happened that the defense disappeared.

31. CHICAGO BEARS (3-10)

I hope the Bears got some good prep work in during their bye week… because they are about to run into a buzzsaw.

32. HOUSTON TEXANS (1-11-1)

They almost pulled off the upset as a 17.5-point underdog, but “almost” doesn’t mean much on Sundays.
